Our Story
Rein Health Studio was founded by Erin Heine, a certified holistic health coach and California native whose work is anchored in lived experience, evidence-informed practice, and a deep respect for the human nervous system.
As an adult who grew up with a high ACE score, Erin learned early how chronic stress can shape a life. High ACE scores are strongly correlated with workaholism, burnout, and nervous system dysregulation—patterns that unfolded for her over the course of many years. By age 34, the cumulative load of chronic stress collided with an acute panic event, resulting in Mast Cell Activation
Syndrome. It was the turning point that made ignoring her body no longer an option.
Despite years of traditional talk therapy, Erin’s physiology made it clear that healing would require additional modalities. Recovery became a full-body reset—rebuilding routines, environmental inputs, nutrition, and daily rhythms from the ground up.
A lifelong passion for cooking, ingredients, and the medicinal potential of food became a central part of that healing. Reconnecting with the kitchen allowed her not only to repair her gut but to rediscover the therapeutic role of nourishment. “Food as medicine” shifted from an abstract idea to a lived, biologically felt truth.
What began as deeply personal self-study evolved into formal training. Erin pursued health and wellness coaching for her own understanding, but in the process discovered her purpose: helping others navigate stress, healing, and sustainable lifestyle change with clarity and compassion.
Today, Rein Health Studio blends Erin’s personal journey with evidence-informed strategies that work in real life—simple structure, supportive habits, and practical tools that help clients feel capable again. We know change can feel overwhelming. With the right support and a grounded plan, it becomes entirely possible.
Why “Rein”
Personal by design, Rein is an anagram of our founder’s name and tips its hat to her German roots: rein translates to “pure.”
Pure to us, means less noise, better choices, and habits that hold.
Say it like “fine”—which, serendipitously, also rhymes with her last name.
