Herbed Turkey Meatball
1 lb organic turkey, ground
1 small organic onion, finely minced
2 cloves of garlic, grated
1 pasture-raised egg
¼ cup almond flour or breadcrumbs
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh oregano, or 1 tsp dried
1 tsp sea salt
½ tsp black pepper
Optional: pinch chili flakes, for warmth

1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 large carrot, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 can (14 oz) organic crushed tomatoes
4–6 cups bone broth (chicken or turkey — gut-supportive)
1 bay leaf
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp cumin
Sea salt + black pepper, to taste
