Golden Milk

  • 1 cup whole milk (or milk of choice)

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or freshly grated turmeric root)

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

  • Pinch of ground black pepper

  • Sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup)

  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, small knob of ghee or a small amount of butter (for richness)
